Great Scapes serves the greater Halifax Regional Municipality. Over the years we have grown in many ways including the services we offer. We have a number of crews who are educated and experienced in their respected areas of work including carpentry, hardscape, and landscape projects as well as maintenance.
Started in 2012 by Ryan MacIntosh, we started out as a maintenance and landscape construction company. Today, we still offer the same core values he started the company with - professionalism, courtesy, and a high quality install, but we've grown into other industries such as home renovations, additions, inground pool installs, etc. Each staff member we hire is because they hold these same values while all offering different sets of skills - allowing us to offer such a wide array of services while keeping a high standard.
Our goal is to give you - the customer, a company that you can trust and rely on to show up, be courteous, perform, and provide you with a high quality product or service that will last and look good for years to come.

In competitive industries such as landscaping and home renovations we are very aware of the "fly-by-night" companies that pop up and close down on a whim, take homeowners money, and leave them with half done, unfinished, or underperforming projects. That being said, the cheapest option is frequently not the best option in this industry. Here at Great Scapes however, we believe in giving our customer something that they can confidently enjoy for years to come. With the completion of many of our projects we offer instructions on maintaining your newly renovated project and if maintained properly we offer a 5 year warranty on the workmanship portion of the project. We install all of our materials to industry standards and continue to update our teams on new installation procedures when they become available. If it turns out to be a defect in the materials that were used we will do our absolute best to direct our customer to the appropriate manufacturer and will supply the necessary information for you to retain warranty on the material itself. We bring over a decade of experiences and knowledge as a team to each project we work on and we pride ourselves on repeat customers - which is why we strive to leave you with a positive experience so that you will come back to us for a of your future projects!
